Master teacher Ms. Yuru Lameda holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 17 years of experience working with children and their families. Through sensory play, music and movement, Ms. Yuru guides families in creating meaningful moments of connection that support healthy development and happy childhood experiences.

A Unique Sensory Play Program for Babies & Toddlers
At Zone for Babies & Kids, our Sensory Movement Music & Play program creates joyful learning experiences where babies and toddlers explore the world through sensory play, music and playful movement. Through songs in English and Spanish, sensory materials and interactive games, children strengthen their motor skills, language and curiosity about the world around them.
24 Unique Sensory Play Classes
Our program includes four colorful sessions — Orange, Blue, Green, and Pink. Each session includes six different classes, adding up to 24 unique and non-repeating sensory play experiences throughout the year
Every class introduces new songs, sensory materials and playful movement activities designed to keep babies and toddlers engaged while supporting their development.
Bilingual Songs in English and Spanish
Children are naturally exposed to both English and Spanish through songs, games and playful routines. Families do not need to speak Spanish to participate—our program is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for everyone.

Hello Happy Families! I’m the founder of Zone for Babies & Kids since 2009 and a passionate child development teacher. I created this sensory play program to help families connect, play and grow together through joyful experiences that support early development.

Each session includes a ZoneBK Sensory Play Box, filled with essential sensory materials and must-have goodies for your 6-week classes—perfect for extending the fun and learning at home. You’ll also receive a convenient bag to carry everything to class. During the sessions, Ms. Yuru will share additional sensory instruments and materials to enhance the experience.

Over the six weeks of Sensory Movement, Music & Play, your child will enjoy engaging sensory activities, joyful movement, and interactive songs. Together, we’ll sing about animals like fish, cats, cows, and penguins while exploring fruits, colors, numbers, shapes, body parts, and vowels—all designed to stimulate your child’s senses, including touch, sight, taste, smell, hearing, proprioception, and balance. This Blue Session will also feature a special Easter-themed class filled with spring colors, bunny songs, and egg-inspired sensory play. The program introduces songs and activities in both English and Spanish, offering a fun and inclusive way to expose children to a second language while fostering imagination, connection, and essential developmental skills in a vibrant learning environment.

GREEN SESSION
APRIL 13th - May 24th (6 weeks)
The Green Session includes six unique classes filled with exciting songs and activities to spark your child’s imagination and growth. Together, we’ll sing about animals like the rooster, hen, chick, horse, fish, bird, elephants, bear, and butterfly, while engaging in musical games that promote language development. We’ll practice numbers and count ducks, stars, and airplanes, hop like frogs, learn farm animal sounds, explore emotions, practice the days of the week, and sing about shapes. The program also introduces songs and activities in both English and Spanish, providing a fun way to expose children to a second language. No need to know Spanish; this inclusive program is welcoming to all families, fostering imagination and essential developmental skills in a vibrant and supportive environment!
